Jack Frost ISO Information
Isolated spore syringes, also known as ISO syringes, contain mushroom genetics that are more stabilized than a normal multispore syringe (MSS). Great care has been taken to isolate the strongest, fastest, and most hardy genetics that will provide vigorous and more consistent research under the microscope. Multispore syringes contain a great deal of genetic diversity, and therefore can present a multitude of different phenotypes. On the other hand, isolated spore syringes have been stabilized in order to present only one phenotype which will provide the most optimized and consistent research.
Jack Frost has become a favored TAT variety. This is probably because it is the result hybrid of 2 already highly acclaimed mushroom varieties; it is a cross between True Albino Teachers (T.A.T.) x Albino Penis Envy! This cross is sought after in the microscopy community and is definitely a must have in any spore collection!
True Albino Teachers (TAT) have become extremely popular within the microscopy community in the last year or so. It’s an entirely new genetic line that was first started by Jik Fibs. OG TAT is where it all started. It was an albino mutation observed in 5 specimens in a tub of Golden Teachers. Jik Fibs began to take samples from those albinos and isolate the genetics. Soon, it was completely isolated and produced albino mushrooms every time. Following this was the creation of the Facebook group called the “TAT syndicate.” The TAT Syndicate and Jik Fibs would slowly start stabilizing and releasing new genetics to a select group of very trusted individuals. We are proud to know some of these individuals and now carry these rare genetics that have gained popularity over the last year.
